Do you take Amex for payments?

Amercian Express charge exceptionally high merchant fees. In order to minimize costs to our clients, we only accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards for payments.

When do I have to have paid by if I register for a course?

Full payment of the course fee must be received prior to the start of the course.

What happens if I need to cancel a registration last minute?

If you cancel 20 days prior to the start of the course then we charge a 20% cancellation fee to cover all administration costs. For any cancellation received less then 20 days prior to the start of the course then the full fee is payable. However if a colleague is able to attend in your place, we would be pleased to arrange the substitution.

Who Comes to the Public Courses?

Our public courses are attended by international delegates from varying companies worldwide which provides the perfect opportunity for networking

Can I lecture at Alphatania Courses?

We would be delighted to hear of any recommendations for new speakers or if you would like to do a guest speaking slot on a particular topic at any of our courses. Please get in touch with the Alphatania team.

In what language are the courses?

All our courses are conducted in English and a good level of the understanding of the English language is required. However should you require a course to be developed in another European language then please speak to the customised team

How do I register to a course?

There are three easy ways to register:

Via the website. Go to the course of interest, click on register and follow the instructions
By phone. Call any member of the team
By email. E-mail training@alphatania.com, specifying in the subject line the course you wish to register for. Do not forget in the email to put your (or a relevant persons) contact details so that we can get in touch

What is an Alphatanian?

They are NOT little green men living in a galaxy far far away. You become an Alphatanian once you have attended an Alphatania training programme.

Do companies get a discount for multiple bookings on Public Training?

Yes Alphatania would be delighted to discuss a discount scheme for multiple bookings.

This can be in the form of:

A contract for a pre-determined number of places over the year allowing for a discount
Three or more attendees on any one course from a single company are entitled to a discount.

What is included in the course fee?

Accommodation and meals are included but any travel costs and extra expenses such as bar bills are the responsibility of the delegate.

We are not responsible for organising your travel but upon registration we will send you full joining instructions including recommended best routes to the venue. For shorter courses such as Introduction to Gas and Power, accommodation is not included however breakfast and lunch are provided and we can recommend the nearest hotels to the course location.
