Engaging with Regulators and Policy Makers
Client's regulatory affairs staff in India needed the necessary background to engage with national regulators and policy-makers on diverse regulatory issues, and to ensure developments proposed could lead to a stable regulatory regime within which Client could be a confident investor.
Alphatania tailored a programme placing regulation in the context of Client country's specific market structures, regulatory competences and institutional effectiveness. Alphatania also considered the need of India to rapidly expand its natural gas infrastructure and the fact that the industry operates in very different competitive spaces, with coal a major competitor. |

Case Study: Operational Training
Alphatania has been involved in the provision of bespoke operational training to a major LNG producer in the process of expanding its commercial administration team to deal with the additional challenges brought on by its expansion into new gas markets.
Alphatania delivered this training in the form of ‘war games’, working in collaboration with the client’s staff to highlight areas of process administration particularly in terms of contract portfolio management, which would benefit from increased levels of robustness and improved commercial acumen within the team.
