Practising real-life situations

The Gas Chain includes three exercises set in the fictional region of Gazania. These exercises will enable you to understand the issues and dilemmas facing the world’s energy companies.

Exercise 1:
How big is your Appetite for risk? Take a chance on successful upstream development, enter the utility business, or integrate downstream operations.

Exercise 2:
International sales and transportation negotiation: Investigate the problems associated with the international routing and sale of gas between producing areas and a market.

Exercise 3:
Gas Trading: Hone your trading skills in an out-cry market as you seek to balance a short term supply and demand portfolio.
